The VVFA GU13 '95 Select went to Reno this weekend to participate in the Championship Round of the Nevada State Cup. On Saturday May 10th, we faced the number one seed from the North, the Nevada Netrippers. It was a hard fought game and after going down 1-0, the girls came back in the second half showing great courage and resolve and we won 2-1 even though we didn't play our best game. This enabled us to play in the State Cup GU13 Championship game against the defending Regional Champion Neusport '95 Green team. We had already locked in a trip to the regional tournament in Hawaii next month, but our girls were determined to go there not as a wild card but as State Champions! >>> Full Story |

VVFA held its third AGM (Annual General Meeting) this February using an Hawaiian theme. We've set the goal of winning State Cup for our GU13 95 Select team and reaching this goal would enable us to play in Regionals in Honolulu this June! >>> Full Story |
